Conficious Temple
The Quzhou Confucius southern Gens Family Temple is the sacred place of Confucius southern gens. There are only 2 family temples of Confucius in the world; One is in Qufu, Shandong the other is in Quzhou, Zhejing.

In the 2nd year of Jiangyan, Song dynasty (1128 A>D>) the 48th generation's grandson of Confucius, Kong Duanyou, carried the wooden stature of Confucius and his wife, Yuanguan and went south to settle in Quzhou with the first Emperor of Southern Song Dynasty, Zhao Gou. According to the will of his ancestor Kong Duanyou built the family temple in Quzhou to commemorate Confucius. As a result, Quzhou became the 2nd hometown of this great man, and is regarded as a sacred place of Confucius southern gens'. Up to now , there have been 28 generations of Kong Family living in Quzhou. Now it is a key historical relic reserving agency.
