Ancient Chongren Town
The protected area of historical culture of the Ancient Chongren Town covers an area of 3 square kilometers and has distinctive features of the Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty. The roads have a pattern like a chessboard of one vertical and four horizontal with intact cobblestone pavement. The ancient buildings join together with exquisite brick, stone and wood carving. All kinds of structures are there, such as a temple, ancestral hall, citizen's houses, memorial archway, herbal medicine shop, stores, bridge, pond, well, and more. Now, there are 15 spots open with an area of 3.52 hectares.
