Tianjin Amusement Park
Tianjin Amusement Park (天津乐园Tian1jin Le yuan)- Entrance fee is 6 yuan, and then you can buy individual tickets for rides ranging in price from 5 RMB up to 20, I think. However you can buy a day pass for all the rides, (or at least most of them), for 60-80 yuan, depending on the day you go. Located on the aptly named Leyuan lu (乐园路), the amusement park is probably the closest thing to a Six Flags or a Disney World that Tianjin's got. And if you come there expecting that, you're going to be disappointed. However, if you're coming there just looking for a good time, without too many preconceptions, you might find a good afternoon's entertainment. The roller coaster isn't worth the wait, but there are some smaller rides that are every bit as fun, with much shorter lines; including some of the fastest, and least safe, gokarts I've ever seen. There might have even been paintball there, although I didn't investigate too thoroughly. It looks like they're trying to improve it too, and adding new rides, so it should get better in the coming years. It's worth checking out, and I had a good enough time that I'll probably head back again someday.
