Tianjin Water Park

Tianjin Water Park (水上公园Shui shang  gongyuan)- Cost of entry is 25 RMB, ride tickets can be purchased at extra cost. The Water Park is located near Nankai University, and is probably the most well known park in Tianjin, perhaps in conjunction with the Amusement park. So if your taxi driver can't figure out how to get there, it's probably time to find a new driver. It's quite a bit more laid back than the Amusement park, and also, when I was there, seemed to have far fewer customers. Perhaps the steeper entrance fee is a big contributor, here. There are carnival rides here, but generally not as good as at the amusement park. They used to have a big tower which had a climbing wall and bungee jumping, but it seems as though it's been shut down for a couple of years. I didn't get to investigate the whole of the park, because it's just huge, but I enjoyed my time there, even if the entrance cost was a bit steep.
