Oasis Hotel

The Oasis Hotel (Luzhou binguan) is one of the best hotels to base yourself in Turpan. This hotel enjoys a good location, situated in the busy commercial heart  of the town. The hotel was renovated in 1998 and is situated amongst large and pleasant grounds.

The hotel provide dorms and double rooms with air-conditioning. Some of the rooms are a bit dingy and prices tend to rise during the peak summer season. There are two restaurants within the hotel, serving very good Moslem cuisine.

The hotel courtyard is nice with grapevine trellises and tree-lined walkways. The hotel provide various facilities including  bicycle rental, a travel service, post office and currency exchange desk. There is also a bar and karaoke room within the hotel.

The only draw back to this place is that the hotel is a fair distance from the bus station, which can be a major drawback if you have to trek to the other side of town in 45c heat!
