6-day Tour ( Kunming ~ Lijiang ~ Lugu Lake)

Day 1: Arrival

Your will be picked up at Kunming airport and transferred to the hotel . Free at leisure.You can explore the city.

Day 2: Kunming

Full day tour to visit the Yunnan Stone Forest. (B+L)

- Stone Forest: 90km to the south of Kunming. Due to a process of weathering and erosion, nature has created an art gallery of stone sculpture there.

Day 3: Lijiang

Take flight to Lijiang, visit the Baisha Murals, the Black Dragon Pond and the Square Street of the Lijiang Old Town.(B+L+D)

-Lijiang ancient town: The town was built in the late song dynasty and the early Yuan dynasty and was listed by the UNESCO on the list of the world's major cultural heritages in 1997.Overnight in Lijiang.

Day 4: Lugu Lake

Drive to Lugu Lake. Visit the Mosuo Family and have a Campfire Party. Overnight in Lugu Lake.(L+D)

- The Mosuos, a branch of the Naxi nationality with a population of about 15000, are the main ethnic group scattered in the lakeside villages.They are in the matriachal society.

Day 5: Lugu Lake ~ Lijiang

Cruise on the Lugu Lake. Then drive back to Lijiang.Overnight in Lijiang. (B+L)

-The Lugu Lake is 300 kilometers away from Lijiang County. It is a plateau lake with a total area of 52 square kilometers, 2685 meters above sea level. The average depth is 45 meters, the deepest point being 93 meters.  The lake remains an uncontaminated plateau lake.

Day 6:  Kunming

Fly back to Kunming .Visit theGolden Temple and the Bird-flower Market.Then be transferred to the airport for your departure after lunch. (B+L)

- Bird-flower market: The climate in Kunming is very much suitable for the plant of flowers and the living of birds. So the market is worth visiting.
