Day 01 Beijing

Arrive in Beijing, the capital of China. You are greeted by your guide at the airport and transferred to the hotel.

Day 02 Beijing (AB, L, SD)

The highlight today is a visit to the Great Wall, a symbol of the Chinese ancient civilization and to the Ming Tombs, the burial grounds for the 13 Ming Dynasty emperors. Attend a Beijing Duck banquet in the evening.

Day 03 Beijing (AB, L, D)

Morning program takes you to Tian An Men Square and the Forbidden City, the residence of emperors for more than 500 years. Afternoon sightseeing features the Temple of Heaven, where emperors once prayed for good harvests and the Summer Palace, a summer resort for Empress Dowager Ci Xi.

Day 04 Beijing (AB)

Day 05 Beijing/Xian (AB, L, D)

Fly to Xian in the morning. Check into the hotel. After lunch, you will visit the majestic Wild Goose Accommodation: Pagoda and the Ancient City Wall.

Day 06 Xian (AB, L, SD)

A full day tour recalls the glories of ancient Xian as we visit the burial site of an incredible army of 8000 lifelike Terra-cotta soldiers and the ancient Banpo Village. At that night, enjoy two specialties, Xian Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Show at Shaanxi Grand Theatre.

Day 07 Xian/Shanghai (AB, L, D)

Fly to Shanghai, China's financial and commercial center. You will be met by your guide and transferred to the hotel. After lunch, continue to visit the city's major attractions, including the Yu Garden at the Old Quarter, the Jade Buddha Temple, the famous waterfront Bund and Nanjing Road at the shopping center.

Day 09 Shanghai (AB)

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
